Updated Bishop medical statement

Jim Wogan Diocese of Knoxville, News

The Most Rev. Richard F. Stika, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Knoxville, continues to improve and is feeling much better following his hospitalization for a diabetic medical issue on March 25.

While visiting and chatting with Father David Boettner and Deacon Sean Smith, Bishop Stika said thank you for all of the prayers, which he appreciates so much, and that he is looking forward to going home soon to resume his pastoral duties.

So that he can rest, the Bishop is not receiving any other visitors at this time.
