The annual raffle raises money for the schools and for the diocesan tuition assistance program.
This year saw a 27.5% increase in sales, leading to a $50,730 increase in funds for schools. $135,220 will be returned directly to schools, and approximately $55,000 will be distributed to regional funds.
Knoxville Catholic High School topped the leaderboard, selling 5,514 raffle tickets. St. Joseph School took second place with 3,287, and Sacred Heart Cathedral School took third with 2,636.
Ten schools make up the diocesan school system. The two high schools are in Chattanooga and Knoxville, and eight foundational schools are located in Johnson City, Kingsport, Chattanooga, Oak Ridge, Farragut, and Knoxville.
All 10 schools are nationally accredited by AdvancED.
