Mass on the Radio

WKXV Radio (900 AM/100.7 FM) in Knoxville broadcasts Mass from the Diocese of Knoxville every Sunday at noon.

The tape-delayed broadcast features the 9 a.m. Mass from the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

WKXV has been on their air since 1953 and has traditionally aired Southern Gospel programming. It’s believed that this is the first Catholic program to air on WKXV in at least 40 years, and it may be the first Catholic program in the station’s history.
