For those who want to share in the dedication of the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on Saturday, March 3, the Diocese of Knoxville will provide a live stream of the Mass and Rite of Dedication on the home page of

The professionally directed broadcast will be a five camera production.

Live coverage will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the performances by the diocesan cultural ensembles.

Fr. Randy Stice

Father Randy Stice and Jerry Punch of ESPN and ABC-TV will narrate the Mass beginning at noon. Father Stice is the director of the Office of Worship and Liturgy for the Diocese of Knoxville and is currently serving as associate director of the Secretariat of Divine Worship for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Mr. Punch is a parishioner of the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

EWTN will air the Mass one week later on Saturday, March 10 at 10 a.m.
