Why it’s called Home
For each of us home is a very special word. It is a place where we feel accepted, cared for, loved, nurtured and comforted. It is a place where we find family, a place where we learn and a place of welcome to others. As Catholics, home extends beyond our personal dwellings. We feel all of these elements in our parish home, our diocesan home and ultimately in our home in Christ.
We understand the connection to our faith as it extends through each of these realities and we know that whether it is our own personal home, our parish home or our diocesan home, it is where we come together to worship, teach and serve.
