Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Mich. 50th Anniversary Open House

The Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Mich., are celebrating their 50th Anniversary of foundation this year starting on Sept. 1. To open this year, the local Religious Sisters of Mercy invite you to join them for Holy Mass at the RSM Convent (6832 S. Northshore Dr. in Knoxville) at noon with an open house with hors d’oeuvres available following, closing with a holy hour at 4:55 p.m..  

As a special grace for this year, Pope Francis has granted a plenary indulgence to any who pray in a chapel of the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Mich., during this year (9/1/23-9/1/24), with the usual requirements for obtaining a plenary indulgence. The Sisters will be opening the convent to the public for times of prayer on Saturday afternoons (and at other times by appointment) for any who wish to partake of the privilege of the plenary indulgence.
