Opening of Jubilee 2025

The 2025 Jubilee is a jubilee of the Church that will be celebrated in the year 2025. This jubilee was preceded by the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy of 2015–2016.

With the theme Pilgrims of Hope, is an "event of great spiritual, ecclesial, and social significance in the life of the Church."

The 2025 Jubilee will officially open on Dec. 24, 2024, at 7 p.m. (Rome time) with a Mass presided over by Pope Francis in St. Peter's Square.
