Monsignor Bill Gahagan died Tuesday, Jan. 10. He was a beloved priest, who faithfully served in the Diocese of Nashville and Diocese of Knoxville for 52 years.
The visitation for Monsignor Gahagan will be Monday, Jan. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Joseph Church in Norris. A second visitation will take place at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Knoxville on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m.. The funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. and will be live-streamed on the cathedral's YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@shcathedral.
Internment will take place at a later date.
