Evening of Recollection for Women

A Women’s Evening of Recollection will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, at St. Mary Church in Athens.

An Evening of Recollection provides women with an opportunity for meditation in the presence of Our Lord in an atmosphere of peace and quiet. The evenings consist of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Benediction, examination of conscience, the sacrament of reconciliation, and private prayer.

Father John A. Orr will also offer a meditation based on the writings of St. Josemaría Escrivá to help women practice the Catholic faith in the ordinary circumstances of their lives.
