Addressing Transgender Issues as a Catholic Healthcare Professional

The St. Gianna Guild of the Catholic Medical Association invites all health-care professionals to a presentation by Sister Mara Lester, RSM, MD, on “Addressing Transgender Issues as a Catholic Healthcare Professional.”

Sister Mara is a psychiatrist who will offer education and her insights in how to respond with love and truth to patients, family members, and co-workers who are struggling with gender dysphoria or caught up in transgender ideology.

The talk and Q&A session will be on Saturday, May 18 from 9-11 a.m. in the Shea Room of the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (entrance adjacent to The Paraclete bookstore). A light breakfast will be available at the beginning of the talk.
