“RUN SO AS TO WIN” 1Cor. 9:24
March 1-3, 2013 at St. Mary’s Oak Ridge
Our goal over this weekend is to create a fun, Christian atmosphere focusing on ones identity in Christ. We hope to encourage self reflection and spiritual growth by using the same holy practices the church has offered over the centuries. We will pray the Stations of the Cross, the rosary, and have a guided hour of Adoration. We will celebrate Mass and the sacrament of reconciliation.
We have physical activities to invigorate and integrate our youth as community. Priest, deacons, lay faithful as well professional and collegiate athletes will present exciting talks about their own personal faith journey. We hope to infuse these grace filled activities with lots of fun.
For these young men to witness other men loving Christ is such an awesome experience. The youth from last year are still talking about it. Big plus, the food is incredible!
Finally, who should you encourage to go? Double A… Absolutely Anyone. Those who have never heard of a rosary and those that are pro’s. 6:30pm Friday – Closes with 10am Mass on Sunday
