Appalachian Experience:

On Sunday April 13 through Thursday April 18, 2019  members of the Diocese of Knoxville Youth Ministry program will be traveling once again to Osage West Virginia to participate in a week of service to the neediest people of the Appalachian region of West Virginia. The Appalachian Experience is a week‑long service‑learning experience for teams of youth and adults. The Appalachian Experience brings a strong, Catholic perspective to the work of assisting children and families in need. The young people will participate in a variety of experiences including building ramps and decks for shut ins, Replacing roofs and repairing sheetrock along with some minor electrical work as well as opportunities to visit with the elderly and home-bound of this coal mining region.  Any High School Youth interested in attending should Contact Deacon Al Forsythe.  Donations of Gift Cards to Lowes, Home Depot Kroeger or Cash will help us purchase the needed supplies.
