Office of Communications

The Office of Communications works with the Bishop of the Diocese of Knoxville to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of East Tennessee. The office pledges to work with media to help the public better understand our Christian mission and to provide materials and information to assist the media in the coverage of the Catholic Church and the Diocese of Knoxville in particular.

The Office of Communications oversees the publication of The East Tennessee Catholic newspaper and magazine and assists the editor with timelines for coverage of stories that impact our readers.

The Office of Communications also recognizes the value of electronic media and has direct input and oversight with the creation of broadcast, video, audio, and social media content.
