Diocesan collection for victims of California wildfires and recent hurricanes

Victims of California wildfires (left) and Hurricane Michael (right) deal with the emotional and financial fallout after these natural disasters.

Victims of the recent wildfires in California and others impacted by Hurricanes Florence and Michael need our help. The Diocese of Knoxville is requesting donations for disaster relief across our country. Funds will assist the ongoing efforts of Catholic Charities USA to provide humanitarian aid for the immediate help of those in need in the affected areas as well as the long-term efforts to restore communities after such widespread destruction. Also, funds will go to support the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ efforts to assist with pastoral and reconstruction aid to the Church. Humanitarian funds for any future disasters impacting communities outside of the United States may be shared with Catholic Relief Services for their response efforts.
