Catholic Charities will move into its new Chattanooga location on Oct. 5.

After 19 years of service on McCallie Avenue, Catholic Charities of East Tennessee is excited to announce a move to its new Chattanooga office at 5720 Uptain Road, Building 6100, Suite 4200, Chattanooga, Tenn. 37411, effective Oct. 5.

Catholic Charities will close its McCallie Avenue office on Sept. 27 and expects to be fully operational at its new location on Uptain Road on Oct. 5.  There will be no interruption in services. In the interim, Chattanooga Site Director Betty Anne Neal will be available to assist clients and others.

The new location allows for more parking and additional office space to better serve clients. The office is conveniently located near Brainerd Road, Interstate 75, and CARTA bus routes.

“We have faithfully served people in need in the Chattanooga area from our office on McCallie Avenue for almost two decades,” said Sister Mary Christine Cremin, RSM, executive director of Catholic Charities of East Tennessee. “Our commitment to provide assistance to vulnerable members of our community remains the same. Nothing is changing — except our address,” she added.

Catholic Charities offers pregnancy support, immigrant services, therapeutic and housing counseling, and operates a home in Chattanooga for clients living with HIV/AIDS.
