Recognition awards
Publicly acknowledging and honoring outstanding leaders in youth ministry is a key aspect to affirming the gifts and contributions made by all youth and adults at the parish, deanery and diocesan level. When exceptional leaders are recognized for their dedication and service, they receive the affirmation they truly deserve and serve as a model for others to emulate.
In cooperation with the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM), the Diocesan Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry will recognize our outstanding leaders at our annual Diocesan Youth Mass to be held at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Knoxville at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011.
