Catholic Committee on Scouting
The Mission and Purpose of the Diocese of Knoxville Catholic Committee on Scouting or DCCS is to give guidance, vitality and leadership in the spiritual phase of Scouting to all Catholic Scouts and Scouters of the Diocese. DCCS who see as there mission the constructive use of the program of the Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of USA and the American Heritage Girls as a viable form of youth ministry with the Catholic youth of our Diocese.
DCCS will monitor and provide qualified councilors to administer the Catholic Religious Emblems program as well as oversee the nomination of adult religious awards for the Catholic Church of the Diocese. DCCS will promote to all non-Catholic Scout and Scouter’s the Religious Emblem program of their faith do to the diversity of scouting units of the Diocese.

If you would like to be a part of this youth ministry we could use your help on the committee of your choice. You do not have to have any Scouting back ground to serve on the committee, just a desire to help our youth grow in their faith.
