St. Dominic School

Mission statement

St. Dominic School is an educational ministry of St. Dominic Parish that encourages the learning of faith in the daily setting of school. The school serves kindergarten through fifth-grade students from St. Dominic Parish as well as other Catholic children from the area. Children from families of other faiths are served when space allows and when the philosophy and mission of St. Dominic School are accepted. The school provides for the spiritual, academic, moral, and physical growth of children in an atmosphere of love and trust. Positive self-esteem is fostered while self-discipline and responsibility are developed. The faculty and staff serve as role models for children to learn to live their faith.

From I-81: Take exit 57B onto Interstate 26 west to Kingsport. From I-26, take exit 4 onto Wilcox Drive. Go straight through the traffic light and turn right onto Center Street at the sixth traffic light. Move into the left lane and go straight through two lights. Move to the left lane; the school will be on the left, past the next light. The parking lot is one-half block past the school on the left.
