Mission statement

Our primary purpose is to serve the spiritual needs of the people of Blount County as well as area visitors, principally by making available the teachings and sacraments of the Catholic faith.

Secondly, to reach out through love, example, and actions to make life more worth living for all in our community, especially for the suffering and impoverished.

Directions

From the north or east on I-40, I-75, or I-81: take exit 386 (airport/Smoky Mountains). Go about 15 miles on US-129 and turn right onto Louisville Road. Stay in the right lane; the church is on the right.

From the west on I-40: take exit 364 (Lenoir City). Go about 22 miles on US-321 and turn left at Foothills Mall Drive. Take another left onto US-129. and move to right lane. Turn left onto Louisville Road; the church is on the right at first intersection.

From the south on I-75: take exit 81 (Lenoir City). Drive about 18 miles on US-321 and turn left at Foothills Mall Drive. Take another left onto US-129. and move to right lane. Turn left onto Louisville Road; the church is on the right at the first intersection.

Sacramental information

Reconciliation: 4 to 4:50 p.m. Saturday, 30 minutes before Sunday Mass, or by appointment
Matrimony:
Those contemplating marriage should contact the pastor at least four months before the date of the wedding. The diocese requires a marriage preparation program.
Baptism:
Parents seeking the sacrament of baptism for their children must be registered in the parish and attend the baptismal instruction class; contact the pastor.
Anointing of the sick:
Notify the pastor in case of serious illness or hospitalization. Priests and eucharistic ministers try to distribute the Eucharist to shut-ins on a weekly basis.
